On the outside, Kaname presents himself as a polite, studious, kind and caring boy in front of his parents and teachers, usually speaking in a polite manner and is hardly seen angered or irritated, usually being rather friendly and gentle with people he meets, and also can be seen as well-mannered near his parents or any guest that comes in the residence, and shows concern for those around him, usually people like his mother.
When he is using Nijimi Anazawa's stick, the tips of his hair becomes white and the stick's emblem, an ace, is displayed across his eyes and wrist. Kaname is a tall and attractive boy with pale skin, stylized blue hair, and glasses.
